Available through the Each Person portal, employees can log in and select the Virtual GP tile to get started. Depending on their organisation’s setup, the service may already be covered by their employer or can be purchased individually on a subscription basis. Users simply consent to share their information securely and can send a short description of their symptoms directly to a doctor.
A qualified GP reviews the request and responds with tailored next steps via text or phone call, whether that is advice, a prescription, or a referral for further care. This virtual healthcare benefit is designed for non-urgent medical concerns and is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
